In previous episodes, we watched Jason (played by Calvin Banks) experience denial, anger, bargaining and depression while coming to terms with the loss of his partner Alex (played by Chris Harder). In this episode, Jason is trying his best to get back on the saddle by hooking up with a sexy daddy named Ben (played by Will Tantra). At first, all is well. But as things get more intimate, Jason starts experiencing flashbacks of Alex – something that happened during a previous date with Billy (played by Ray Dexter). Just like the previous encounter, Jason’s emotions manifest in a flaccid cock – and, just like the previous encounter, Jason tries to cope with it by leaving abruptly.
But this time is different.
Ben invites Jason to cuddle. He offers comfort, and the two men connect over shared loss. We learn that Jason’s partner died of cancer; Ben’s partner died of AIDS during the 1990s. There are similarities in their stories, and Jason wonders if there was ever anyone else for Ben.
There have been lots of someone elses. No one like my partner, but guys that I fucked and guys that I loved. Some guys that I fucked and loved, and some guys that I just loved fucking. There will be more for you, too. There will be.
These are honest, sweet words that speak wisdom into Jason’s grieving heart. Indeed, there will be ‘someone elses’ for Jason, and that includes Ben – who invites Jason to try something a bit different. An erotic, beautiful scene unfolds – and Jason erupts in ejaculatory pleasure.
It is a hopeful end to a bittersweet journey. And while Jason is a fictional character, his path is well-trod by many gay men. He represents all of us: those of us who grieve, and those of us who haven’t – but someday will. At some point, we all experience loss. Our hearts are too tender not to be broken. And yet we heal, and try our hand again – because, no matter the pain, our drive and desire for love, intimacy and connection is inescapable.
Through juicy erotic content, Davey Wavey created Himeros.tv for gay men to have hotter sex, to experience toe-curling pleasure and to fulfill their deepest desires. Watch free previews or join at himeros.tv.
