Youtube Uses Algorithms that limit what is on the internet to protect, especially when there are thousands of videos being added by the hour. It doesn’t just flag, but blocks automatically the content, it relies on the individuals to bring it to Youtube’s Personnel attention that the video is not clickbait but helpful and educational (It would take more than a legion of Youtube Personnel to do this real time, while an algorithm can do it tirelessly and efficiently). Please do not demonize Youtube for doing this. ( I do not work for Youtube, Alphabet or Google, just an understanding fan of your videos and of the well meaning of that company. ”Do No Evil”.)

I live in a country where you’re innocent until proven guilty. YouTube operates in a space of guilty until proven innocent. YouTube could easily say, “Hey, we think your video might be problematic. Our algorithms have flagged your video for removal, but you have 24 hours to make your case.” I think this would be a better approach than removing a video and then waiting for creators to appeal.
